Vryburg is located approximately halfway between Kimberley and Mafikeng, in the Bophirima region of the North West.  Known to be one of the country’s largest beef producing areas especially Bonsmara cattle.   The town is also a thriving agricultural centre with maize and peanuts being produced.  Vryburg plays host to South Africa’s third largest annual agricultural show which is well attended each year by locals and visitors.
